These homemade granola bars are incredibly easy to prep, packed with wholesome ingredients, and so much cheaper than store-bought versions. With a boost of chocolate protein, they make the perfect snack or post-workout bite.

Ingredients
2 cups rolled oats
2 scoops chocolate protein (I use WPI90 rom True protein)
1/2 cup pecans
1/2 cup almonds chopped
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup coconut
3 tbsp coconut oil (or butter)
1/2 cup rice malt syrup (can sub for honey)
2 eggs
Handful of choc chips
Method
Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a square baking tray with baking paper.
In a large bowl, mix together the oats, protein powder, pecans, almonds, cranberries, and coconut.
Add the melted coconut oil, eggs and rice malt syrup. Mix well until evenly coated.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking tray, pressing it down firmly into an even layer.
Scatter over the choc chips and bake for 20 minutes, or until lightly golden.
Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
